On Sunday, I made bruschetta for lunch. I began with a loaf of french bread that I cut into thick slices and grilled directly on a grill pan without oil or butter. I then rubbed fresh garlic on some of the slices (left it off the slices with sweet toppings like orange marmalade and melon) and drizzled a little olive oil on each. I then went about assembling ingredients I had on hand to make these bruschetta...
- tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella with balsamic vinegar
- prosciutto, fresh mozzarella and orange marmalade
- prosciutto, feta, honey dew melon and honey
Mmmm! So good and so fun to make!
