Sometimes I just love seeing black bananas on the counter…it signifies banana bread! I received special permission to share the BEST banana bread recipe I’ve ever seen or eaten.
For those of you who are allergic to nuts, this is a great non-nut bread option . 1/2 c. butter or margarine 1 c. sugar 1 egg 3/4 t. soda 1 1/2 c. flour 1 T. baking powder 1/2 t. salt 3 large bananas, mashed Cream butter & sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Blend in dry ingredients and mashed bananas. Pour onto greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50 (or so) minutes. Enjoy!
