If you are ever in the neighborhood – Berlin in this case – and want to feel like blue-blooded royalty, make a trip to Potsdam. Frederick the Great, King of Prussia chose this cute little city to build his summer palace that translates to ‘without worries’. Can you imagine strolling down the large steps looking at the geometric gardens, getting lost in the maze-like hedges, sitting in the grass looking at the church that some people even come to paint?! I love coming to Sanssouci and have brought my own share of tourist friends like Carol and Mariá and the boyfriend.
