A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a post about the lovely Fluffy Thoughts Cakes, new to Mclean, Virginia. I gushed about owner Lara Stuckey's apple bacon cupcake with maple frosting. I dropped by for their grand opening party this week, sampled more delicious treats (check out the cream puffs with caramelized sugar garnish) and took some photos. In my last post, I also complemented the shop's charming interior decor, which I can happily share with you now.
They also have truffles! These have a caramel filling and crushed almond coating.
