Ingredients: Makes 2 cups, or 8-1/4 cup serving
1 1/2 pounds of tomatillos, husks removed and cut into quarters
1/2 small red onion, coarsely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon hot sauce or one hot pepper minced
juice of 1 lime
1 teaspoon salt and pepper (to taste)
1/2 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
Method:
- Add all of the ingredients into a food processor and pulse, leave chunky.
- Let sit for an hour to let the flavors meld together.
